A group of about 50 invited guests enjoyed a morning tea for the official opening of the SALA festival.

ABC Open Producer, Daniel Schmidt, officiated the event.

Sept. 2014 - River Boy book launch - Banrock Station Wine & Wetland Centre.

Publisher, Jane Curry, from Jane Curry Publishing, Sydney, travelled to South Australia for the launch of River Boy.

Students from local primary schools and members of wetland groups participated in the launch with talks about their environmental activities. There was a reading of the book to guests, who included Students, Teachers, librarians, Environment Groups and local dignitaries.

A group of about 100 classic car enthusiasts enjoyed a visit to Riverglen View Art Studio.

They shared in a tour of Liz & Clint Frankel's Art studio,

followed by a morning tea on the deck.

Local invited artists showcase a pre-Christmas exhibition of local art and artisan products.

September 2015 - SALA - "NEO 9 x 5" Riverglen View Art Studio,

Good Hope Landing SA

A new exhibition of original, Glass Tile Murals, all 9 x 5 inches in size. A new take on the

'9 x 5 Impressions Exhibition', that was held in Melbourne, 16th August,1889.

This was a controvercial collective of 183 works by European-Australian

Impressionist painters, including Roberts, McCubbin, Daly & Streeton.

They were painted on the backs of cigar box lids, and all measured 9 x 5 inches.

Also showing Garry Duncan paintings and prints,

and introducing Matthew 'Doc' Clifford's Riverwood Designs.

Dec. 2013 - Hairy nose Itchy butt wins State Award

Hairy Nose Itchy Butt has been voted the most popular Picture Bookbook for 2013 at the West Australian Young Readers' Book Awards.

 

The West Australian Young Readers' Book Awards have been awarded annually since their inception in 1980 and were the first Young People's Choice Awards to be made in Australia.

A group of about 150 invited guests enjoyed an afternoon of Art, Literature, Wine & Food, to celebrate the official opening of the SALA Festival, and new work by Liz & Clint Frankel and Garry Duncan.

April 2013 -"Gaz & The Franks" Exhibition. Pikes Wines, Clare Valley SA.

A group of about 70 invited guests enjoyed a Friday evening, 'cocktail style' event to celebrate the official opening of  an exhibition of new Glass Artwork by Liz & Clint Frankel, and new Paintings by Garry Duncan.

They enjoyed Pikes Wines and gormet platter food.

South Australian Senator, Anne Ruston, officiated the event.

Jan. 2012 - Greenhill Galleries North Adelaide SA, "Australia Day" Exhibition.

Several hundred invited guests enjoyed an afternoon of Art, Literature, Wine & Food, to celebrate South Australia's official Australia Day Arts Event, "Wombat Australia Day".  

 

The exhibition featured new work by Liz & Clint Frankel and Garry Duncan.

                                                                   

The exhibition was officially opened by the Premier of South Australia, Hon Jay Wetherill.

Mar. 2011 - Hairy Nose Itchy butt book launch - Banrock Station

 

An enthusiastic group of about 100 invited guests enjoyed the official Riverland launch of the new book, Hairy Nose Itchy Butt. Students from local primary schools, Teachers, librarians, Environment Groups and local dignitaries enjoyed a public reading of the book, followed by a morning tea.

Mar. 2011 - Hairy Nose Itchy butt National Book Launch - Adelaide Zoo Conservation Centre.

ABC Radio's Afternoon's Producer, Deb Tribe, officially launched the new book, Hairy nose Itchy butt. An enthusiastic group of about 100 invited guests, including students from Scotch College, enjoyed a public reading of the book, followed by an afternoon tea.

That evening, another event was held at the Adelaide Zoo Conservation Centre. Around 200 invited guests viewed an art exhibition and enjoyed Riverland food and wine. Hon Karlene Maywald officiated the event, which was sponsored by Illalangi, Banrock Station and Nippys.

Invited Riverland and Coorong Artists colaborated in an exhibition, reflecting their concerns for the river and lakes environment.

Liz & Clint Frankel were feature artists and addressed the crowd and showed a short film about thier connection with, and concern for, the river.  

Sept. 2010 McCormick's Centre for the Environment Renmark - 'Once & Then' exhibition.

Invited Riverland and Coorong Artists colaborated in an exhibition, reflecting their concerns for the river and lakes environment.

Around 100 invited guests enjoyed a morning tea and a DVD presentation from Liz & Clint Frankel, showing their connection with, and concern for, the river.

River Life - An exhibition of new glass art works by Clint & Liz Frankel, Paintings by Garry Duncan and Riverwood Designs by Matthew 'Doc' Clifford.

June 2016-Fleurieu Food+Wine Art Prize - Shortlisted Finalists - Clint & Liz Frankel  

Liz & Clint Frankel's "Wine Lovers-Party for two" was featured with other FF+WAP finalist artworks at the official opening of the FF+WAP at the Mclaren Vale & Fleurieu Visitor Centre.

June 2017 - UPSTREAM Children's book launched.

Barmera Primary School, Barmera SA.

With the assistance from the MDBA and DEWNR, Liz Frankel was engaged as an Artist in Residence at Barmera Primary School, where she worked with a group of year 6-7 students and helped them to become the authors of a new children's book.

UPSTREAM educates about the need for healthy floodplains and tells the real story of Katfish Reach.
